Are Silent Gliss curtain fabrics fire retardant?

Yes. All Silent Gliss fabrics in The Collection are certified flame retardant (FR). The standards listed include DIN 4102-1 (A2, B1), NF P 92-503-507 (M1/M2), BS 5867 Part 2 Type B/C, EN 13501 (B-s1), UNI VF 8456 Class 1 and NFPA 701. See Flame retardancy.

Which curtains suit clinics and hospitals?

Silent Gliss antibacterial fabrics suit clinics and hospitals: they stop bacteria from multiplying, can be washed at up to 72 degrees and are particularly relevant in healthcare environments. Antifungal fabrics are available too, and the antibacterial range (Sanitized Actifresh and Bioactive) is verified by independent institutions. They hang on cubicle tracks like those used in multi-bed hospital wards.

Can curtains reduce noise in offices, classrooms and halls?

Yes. Soft furnishings can significantly reduce noise, and Silent Gliss acoustic fabrics are measured for it: their sound absorption is tested to DIN EN ISO 354 and given as an αw value from 0 (none) to 1 (complete). Colorama Acoustic and Acoustic Multicolour absorb sound well while keeping a light, delicate look.

Does Promolink supply cubicle tracks and room dividers?

Yes. Silent Gliss cubicle and room divider systems serve hospital wards, shower rails and operating rooms, and work as space dividers in health clubs, spas, changing rooms and offices. Silent Gliss Vertical Waves, laser-cut vertical blinds, can also divide a room, with lighting and acoustic effects.

Which blinds suit conference rooms and AV rooms?

Silent Gliss dim-out blind systems give total room darkening and are made for conference rooms, A/V rooms and medical areas, fitted inside or outside the window recess. Electric curtain tracks suit AV and conference rooms too, as well as large, heavy or hard-to-reach curtains.

Can motorised curtains link to a building management system?

Yes. Silent Gliss electric curtain tracks run from a switch, a remote control, the Move app, or a home control or building management system. The SG 5600 track takes the longest runs, up to 25 metres, and the heaviest curtains, up to 65 kg on a straight 10-metre run (a 25-metre run carries up to 40 kg). Silent Gliss skylight shading systems cover glass roofs and atriums, run electrically or by crank.
