All eight take Wave curtains. Radii are from Silent Gliss's electric, cord-operated and hand-operated track catalogues (06/2026), which also list other hand-drawn Wave tracks; widths and weights are from Promolink's electric track and cord track pages.
The Wave parts matter too. On the SG 3840 and the three hand-drawn tracks, the standard parts include the 80 mm Wave glider cord, and Silent Gliss lists the optional Wave parts, including the 60 mm glider cord, only for bends of more than 30 cm (SG 3840) or 25 cm (hand-drawn). Of the eight tracks in the table, the sharpest bends are on the hand-drawn SG 6465, SG 6380 and SG 6010, and the two motorised ones are the SG 5100 and SG 5600.

Not every motorised system bends. Silent Gliss Metropole, a curtain track with the look of a pole, bends in its 38 mm motorised version to a minimum radius of 35 cm, but its technical catalogue describes the 50 mm motorised SG 7650 as Straight only – cannot be bent.
Ask which motorised system you are quoted before you plan a curve.

For a curtain that draws to one side and parks there (a single stack), Silent Gliss lists an optional 80 mm single-stack Wave master carrier for the SG 5100, SG 5600 and SG 3970, and marks their 60 mm Wave cords "no single stack".
Should a Wave track on a bay be fixed to the ceiling or the wall?
Either can work, depending on the track: Silent Gliss lists the SG 5100, SG 5600, SG 3840, SG 3870, SG 3970, SG 6010 and SG 6380 for the ceiling or the wall, and the SG 5100, SG 5600, SG 3870 and SG 3970 also for a ceiling recess. In a recess those four bend to a radius of 50 to 75 cm, so a tight angled bay may suit a ceiling fixing better.
For the hand-drawn SG 6465, Silent Gliss lists ceiling and recess fixing; its recess profile bends to more than 27 cm.
On the wall, the brackets hold the track out from the wall, so the line it follows sits in front of the bay. Silent Gliss's bending instructions tell the fitter:

What should you measure for a bay, corner or curved window?
Measure the shape the track will follow, not only the width: each straight run, the angle or curve at every corner, the lowest ceiling height and anything in the way. A bent track is shaped before it is fitted, so the shape must be right first; Silent Gliss's off-site bending instructions begin: Draw out the window shape full scale on a bench or floor.
- Each straight run of the bay or corner, along the line where the track will sit, and the total length.
- The angle at each corner, or a template of the curve.
- The drop at the lowest point of the ceiling: Silent Gliss says the smallest room height must be taken into account, and recommends a 20 mm gap between curtain and floor.
- Where the curtain should stack when open: at both ends for a pair that meets in the middle, or at one end for a single curtain.
- What is in the way: window handles, a window seat, an air-conditioner or a ceiling box.
- What the ceiling or wall is made of, such as a plaster ceiling or a bulkhead: Silent Gliss says the number of brackets and fixing points varies with the fitting surface, the system's weight and the fabric.

A Silent Gliss track is not a home job. Silent Gliss's bending-tool instructions have the track bent on a bending tool, to a full-scale drawing of the window, and its catalogues say its systems are for installation by a qualified fitter only. The track's own bend radius also limits the curve, such as more than 25 cm for the motorised SG 5100 and SG 5600.
What does bend radius mean on a curtain track?
The bend radius is the radius of the curve where the track turns: the smaller the radius, the sharper the corner. Silent Gliss gives it track by track. The SG 3970 cord track, for example, bends to a radius of more than 25 cm, while its recess profile, which sits inside the ceiling, needs 50 to 75 cm.
Can a Ripplefold curtain go around a 90-degree corner window?
Yes, on a bent track the curtain runs around the corner on a short curve rather than a sharp point. The SG 3840 chart in Silent Gliss's bending-tool instructions lists bends from 90° to 135° at a 20 cm radius, and Silent Gliss Metropole poles come in a corner shape as well as straight and gradual curve.
Can S Fold curtains hang from a curved Metropole pole?
